How our program is created

The program is put together in three different ways: through external groups, through the Call for Content, and through the Open Spaces at the camp.

In March, external groups had the opportunity to submit a proposal for setting up a tent, with the goal of establishing a thematic focus or perspective within it and designing the tent autonomously as they wished. A total of 10 groups responded to our call, and they will fill a total of 9 tents.

Through the Call for Content, groups and individuals can submit individual contributions. These can range from workshops and networking to cultural programs and films, and can address the political issues that concern us. For this year’s Call for Content, there is only one submission deadline: July 12, 2026. When selecting program contributions, diversity is important to us—both in terms of content and in terms of formats and the perspectives of the presenters.

If you’re more spontaneous or just want to offer something smaller, you can also use the Open Space at the camp. The Open Space has its own program board at the camp with designated Open Space times. This year, we want to make more Open Space sessions available during the main workshop slots as well. Unfortunately, it’s not technically possible for these sessions to appear in the app or on the website.

We’ll always have several program activities running at the same time—so there will always be something for you, or you’ll be spoiled for choice. ;-)

At the same time, we’re planning plenty of breaks and would like to encourage all participants, volunteers, and speakers to pay attention to their need for rest and not let the many options overwhelm them.
