Call for Content

Submit your content for the camp now!

We have two submission rounds this year:

Registrations for round 1 are possible until 08.06.2025. (completed)
Registrations for round 2 are possible until 20.07.2025.

We will probably not be able to process applications after 20.7. We will get back to you approx. 2 weeks after the submission deadline, i.e. mid-end of June for round 1 and beginning of August for round 2.

You can access the submission form at the bottom of this page. It takes an average of 20-30 minutes to complete. We recommend that you complete the form on a laptop or PC rather than a smartphone and read the following information beforehand.

The System Change Camp emerged from the climate justice movement and takes place annually to provide a space for encounters, networking, educational training, skillshares, strategic discussions and cultural programs.

We need your support for such a versatile program!

You can organize a lecture, workshop, information stand, exhibition, concert or other format with us as an individual or with your group. There are few limits in terms of content. There is a focus on the history of movement (more on this in the next section), but there is also plenty of room for other content. The camp organizers will do their best to put together a diverse and inspiring program. You are welcome to draw inspiration from last year’s program. There will also be room for spontaneous contributions at the camp; you will receive information on this in the program or on site in the information tent.

We welcome the organization of learning spaces on privilege, sensitivity to discrimination and power structures.

It is possible to hold non-public program content, e.g. to create networking spaces for your own community. However, we need an early request in order to organize this.

Focus: History is feasible!

With this focus, we want to develop a deeper understanding of the fights we are building on and what we can learn from these experiences for the future. The past and histories of the movement provide a wealth of experience for different strategic approaches and possible forms of participation. Together we want to explore how we can use these experiences for the future, because history is feasible and so is system change!

Market of opportunities

We will be organizing a “Market of opportunities” again this year: This is a space where different political groups from the left spectrum can introduce themselves and get in touch with interested people from the camp. You can register for this using the form at the end of the text.

Removing barriers

We want as many people as possible to be able to take part in the camp. That’s why we strive to break down barriers – in other words, obstacles that could prevent people from taking part.

For workshops and other content

We are very happy if your content is designed to be accessible and will be happy to give you tips on how to do this.

Language: We ask all speakers to use easily understandable language. This helps people who are new to activism and people for whom the German language is a challenge. We are particularly happy if you can offer your content in simple or easy language.
Plain language means using short and clear sentences, using simple words and formulating them as actively as possible. Pictures can also help to make content easier to understand.
Easy language goes even further: it follows fixed rules and is particularly aimed at people with learning difficulties. Texts in plain language should be checked and particularly easy to understand.

Translations: If you would like to have your program item translated into another language and cannot organize this yourself, we can support you. Please send us an email in good time to let us know what content and for which languages you need the translation. We will do our best to find a suitable solution. If you can work for us as a translator yourself, we would be delighted to have your support.
Write an email to with the subject “Translation” for any translation-related requests

On Friday, August 22, we are organizing a low-barrier day. On this day, there will be a particularly large number of offers in plain or easy language, as well as other low-barrier content. This means that people with learning difficulties can also take part in our program.
On this day, we will also prioritize content that deals with the topic of inclusion. We will offer a skillshare to support people who want to make their content more accessible. We will announce this day on our website and via our channels.
Contact to register or if you have any questions.
We welcome content that is suitable for people new to the movement and requires no prior knowledge.

For speakers

As speakers, we can also offer you a wide range of support for reducing barriers. We offer you:

  • Translations
  • Technical support
  • Mobility aids
  • Retreat tents
  • Awareness structures
  • Accommodation and beds
  • Care assistance

We are happy to support you. If you would like to accept the offer, please send us an email as soon as possible to with the subject “Support search”.

To the application

If you have any questions, simply contact us at

We use the Pretalx software to make our work easier. You will need to create an account for the submission. The name you enter there will be used by us in the program. Other personal data such as your e-mail address will not be published. If you have any problems with the form, please send an email to and we will be happy to help you.

The submission is not yet a confirmation for your content. We will process the submissions in two rounds. Round 1 runs until 08.06.2025 and round 2 until 20.07.2025. We will get back to you after about 2 weeks. Later submissions are possible, but will probably not be processed.

Completing the form takes 20-30 minutes on average.
