Bed Exchange

At the SCC, we want to make participation possible as for many people as possible.

Thank you for your interest in the bed exchange.

We’ve been at the System Change Camp since the 13th. Since we also have many responsibilities there, we can no longer fully manage the bed exchange.

For requests: Please only submit a request if you cannot sleep in a tent and need permanent accommodations. Our service is primarily intended for people with chronic illnesses, neurodivergent individuals, and people with disabilities. We ask everyone else to find a place to sleep on their own. For example, you can ask for a free spot in a tent during the general assembly.

For offers: You’re welcome to submit your offer. However, we may no longer be able to respond to it.
We’re sorry if this causes you any inconvenience. However, we believe open and honest communication is very important.

Offer a Room Form

You can use this form to register if you’d like to offer a room for the bed exchange between 13 and 25 August.
Please only register if you’re absolutely sure.

Some people need a lot of quiet. We can only provide that to a limited extent at the camp.

This applies, for example, to people with chronic illnesses. Or neurodivergent people.

You can offer your room as a quiet room. The room will then be used by different people. Some stay only briefly. Others stay for a few hours.

Please tell us: Is the entrance step-free? That means: Is it at ground level or accessible by elevator?

Is there enough space for a wheelchair? Can the person move around easily?

Is there a low-barrier bathroom? This means: There is plenty of space for a wheelchair. There are grab bars next to the toilet. The shower or bathtub is at ground level. Is there a shower chair or stool?

Is there a refrigerator that the person can use?
