But just as in society at large, they also face barriers in activism.
At the Accessability Days, we make these barriers visible, break them down, and bring the ideas and new networks back into our everyday activist work.

We set up a program for August 21–23 that is created by and, above all, for people with disabilities.
There will be spaces for discussion, skill-shares, a writing workshop, performances, film screenings, and, of course, workshops focused on dismantling ableism. We have our own program tent that will be entirely dedicated to this topic over the three days. Related activities will also take place in other tents.

We also have a Disability Safer Space, where you can chill and meet (new) people. There will be also room to exchange and form protest about the new “Behindertengleichstellungsgesetz” of the german government.
