Low Barriers Day

12. August 2025

The “Low Barriers Day” will take place on August 22. On this day, the focus will be on activism and disability.

We have planned many interesting learning and meeting formats on this topic. There will be an intensive workshop on how to design inclusive and low-threshold structures (2:30 p.m.). There will be content in simple language (“Making a difference together with Jewish people” at 2:30 p.m.). There will be a workshop on how we can all treat each other with care and look out for one another (4:30 p.m.). The “Barrier-Free Camp” working group invites you to a discussion round on activism & disability (11:00 a.m.). And there will be less intellectually demanding content, such as “Music connects and encourages” (2:30 p.m.). You can find further program items and details in our program.

In the evening at 8:30 p.m., there will be an open stage. This means that anyone who wants to can perform a short piece, such as singing a song or reciting a poem. People with experience of disability are especially invited to take to the stage.

We are also strengthening our support services with additional, clearly visible contact persons at the camp. They will help you with any questions you may have about the camp, such as where to find the food distribution point. The “Barrier-Free Camp” working group is also happy to offer you individual support, e.g., with mobility, meals, or arrival and departure.

Residential and leisure groups for people with disabilities are expressly invited to visit us on this day.

If you have any questions, need support, or would like to make a spontaneous contribution to the program, please contact us at .
