Presentation of the two topics:
Landwirtschafts- und Ernährungstage (Agriculture and Food Days)
August 18-23 !! Focus on August 18 !!
At the Agriculture and Food Days, people from different backgrounds and with different ideas and knowledge can come together to discuss the kind of agriculture and food system we want. From Monday to Wednesday, there will be a special tent for three days as a venue for workshops, lectures, networking, and personal exchange. There will be further events on the topic over the following days. We want to talk about our struggles, strategies, and utopias and develop alternatives to the current capitalist and neocolonial food system. We want to better understand both the local and global food systems. Learning from past struggles is a focus for this year.
Organized by:
Aktion Agrar (Agricultural Action) and individuals from different backgrounds
Wasserkonferenz (Water Conference)
August 21-24
The water crisis is here – and so are we! Climate struggles have long been water struggles: we are witnessing crop failures, restrictions on water withdrawals, and households being urged to conserve water. At the same time, corporations such as LEAG, Tesla, and others are extracting enormous amounts of our drinking water for their profits. But resistance has been growing for years. Whether in Grünheide, Bonn, or Baruth – everywhere, people are campaigning for a fair distribution of our water. With the Water Conference in March, the Water Protest Camp in May, and the upcoming days of action in October, nationwide networking is also in full swing. In our water tent, we look back on past struggles and current conflicts and develop strategies for the future together. Come by – for a solidarity-based water movement!
