Contribute your own content as a group at System Change Camp 2026

You are welcome to use System Change Camp as a networking hub or to present your own content as an independent group, organisation or collective.

There are three ways you can get involved:

Setting up your own “external tent”: At SCC 26, there will once again be an opportunity to organise a themed tent independently of our Programme Working Group. The tent can encompass educational programmes, networking and strategic processes. This way, you can become part of the camp’s programme with your own content. Please send us your ideas by 12 April (to vernetzung@system-change-camp.org).
Networking: Do you want to network with different activists to drive a political process? Are you still looking for a venue, for example, for a strategy conference or a group meeting? You’re welcome to do so here at the camp, where you can make use of our facilities and enrich our camp with your struggles, ideas and people. These processes may be public or private.
Individual programme contributions: There will be another call for content this year, where you can submit individual programme contributions. Do you want to discuss an interim strategy with a wider movement audience? Gather perspectives for your processes? Organise a panel discussion? Then please submit your proposal here on our website from mid-April onwards.

In the face of war, right-wing populism, fascism and the climate crisis, we do not want to bury our heads in the sand, but rather grow as a movement and develop new strategies and actions. Alongside general systemic change, this year we also want to focus above all on shaping care work collectively and in solidarity (more on this on our website in the coming weeks).

We would be delighted if you could enrich the camp with your insights, political experiences and strategies.

Information about the setup and participatory plenary sessions

On Thursday, August 14, we will meet at 9 a.m. in the southern part of Grüneburgpark. There we will unload the first trucks together, for which we will need many hands :)

At 2 p.m., there will be the first participatory plenary session, during which tasks will be assigned.

Feel free to bring snacks and drinks, as we still have to set up the KüfA.

During the following setup days (August 15-17), the participatory plenary sessions will always be at 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Bed exchange

We would like to organize sleeping accommodations at this year’s System Change Camp in Frankfurt in a spirit of solidarity. Not everyone has the opportunity to organize their own sleeping accommodations or bring a tent. We ask everyone who has the opportunity to do so to bring extra tents and lend them out on site. The contact point for this is our information tent. If you need a place to sleep through the bed exchange, please send an email with your requirements and needs to Bettenboerse@system-change-camp.org.

Conflicts, debates, and how we can argue at the SCC

The System Change Camp is also a place for debate and arguing, and we would like to practice this together with you. To this end, we offer support to help us hurt each other less, grow from our disagreements and treat each other with as much kindness as possible. Mediators and conflict moderators will be available by phone for this purpose. We work in a discrimination-sensitive and impartial manner. We moderate neutrally and with sensitivity to power dynamics.

Anyone who would like to support us in this is welcome to contact us on site.
There will be a networking space for conflict mediators on Sunday, August 17, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Here’s to a loving, combative togetherness… we look forward to seeing you! 🖤

Do you have specific wishes for SCC 2025 and would like to take responsibility for helping to implement them? Would you like to help organize the next camp in the areas of program, awareness, public relations or infrastructure? We are always happy to welcome more motivated people, even without previous experience, because only together can we manage such a big camp!

If you would like to help organize the camp, contribute to the program, support others as a helper, give feedback on the implementation so far or other ideas, or if you are still unsure what you can do, please contact us:

In previous years, we did not include set-up and dismantling in the camp period. However, setting up and dismantling is as much a part of the camp as the workshops themselves and the program as a whole. Setting up the tents and setting up the infrastructure is already part of the political work of our self-organized camp. Here you can find information on setting up and dismantling.

Support Seekuh-team: Our task as SeekuhAG is prevention and de-escalation

Hey dears!

We are the Seekuh team for this year’s System Change Camp. As Seekuh-AG we try to make sure that everyone at the camp feels carefree. We are feminist, anti-fascist, anti-racist, anti-ableist, queer, anti-capitalist, against anti-Semitism and any other form of oppression. We claim to be aware of everyday and structural discrimination among ourselves and by our environment and actively campaign against it. Our task as SeekuhAG is prevention and de-escalation. We are available for you 24 hours a day at the camp, which is why we work in shifts. We wish everyone an inspiring and wonderful time. But because we also have our own limits, we urgently need your help.

Our Seekuh-AG has a buddy system that should make it possible for everyone to participate in the Seekuh-AG. But don’t worry, you don’t need to have a lot of prior knowledge, more experienced people will support you as buddies. We are very happy about your interest in these tasks, because we can only achieve our goals together with you!

Collectivization of the camp

The SCC is to be even more collectivized in 2025 than in previous years: Ideally, everyone at the camp should contribute to making the camp work and really enjoyable. In recent years, the SCC organization was sometimes very overburdened by all the tasks and responsibilities that come with such a large camp. We want to learn from this and do better this year.

If everyone takes on a little bit, it’s never too much for anyone and at the same time it’s a great opportunity to learn something new and collectively fill a great place with life. This can include a lot of things, such as

Taking on repro shifts (more information here)
Becoming a long-term helper (more information here)
Designing spaces yourself and spontaneously
Finding your own solutions to conflicts
Simply helping other people when they need help
Connecting people
Many more things… Get creative!

We want to move away from the idea that the camp is organized by the camp organization alone and towards the idea that the camp is a space that we all help to shape and for which we take responsibility together. Together we can show what lived solidarity looks like and turn a small utopia into reality!
